All DCI seminars are based on three areas essential to excellent public speaking: overcoming the fear of public speaking, developing the speech, and delivering the speech. Learning only one or two of these areas is like trying to sit on a stool with only one or two legs. It isn’t possible to sit on such a stool and it isn’t possible to be an excellent public speaker if only one or two of the essential speaking areas are present.
So not only will you learn the mechanics of speech construction, you will have the opportunity to practice your public speaking in a safe, encouraging, and supportive public speaking “laboratory.” In a safe environment, you will be able to develop your self-confidence faster, which will reduce your fear of public speaking faster.
